Our downtown government clients are always looking for Administrative Assistants (Level 5) on a contract basis. This position will take care of comprehensive administrative services, and will assist the Director and senior level managers. The salary will be based on experience and will range between $23-$24/hour.

- Travel expense claims
- Budget administration procedures
- Human resource procedures
- Coordinate information flow
- Managing calendars and schedules
- Action requests
- Responding to requests from clients and stakeholders
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high level administrative assistant role, and previous government of Alberta experience at an AS4 level or higher. A business administration diploma along with experience is preferred. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, desktop publishing, and Visio is required, as well as ARTS. This role demands strong written and verbal communication skills, and proofreading and editing skills. Other experience required includes, records management and minute taking.
